This is an amazing study in sociopsychology, and I will carry it with me for the rest of my life. Overall, I think the concept works better on the website than the ebook. Earlier this year, I found out that it was published into a book, which is nice. If you're looking for a nice captivating romantic non-fiction book, read this instead!
When I first read the blog, I remember how difficult I found it to read the accounts of each day side by side. What starts as a fun idea develops into something much deeper, becoming an interesting look at the love lives and psyche of the two authors. Obviously if she had been more into him than he was, what's the hook it would have been too cliche.

In the end, I skim-read much of the second half, basically trying to find a the days where they had sex, and b whether they ended up going out in the end. Well, she and I ended up talking about this Forty Days of Dating project the entire time. It seems to me his dating style could result from this. This only amplified as she continues on through the book, becoming more and more preachy about her lifestyle and everything-free hipster eating habits.
